The hotel is on top of the hill in Figueretas, on the border of Eivisa town and near the Figueretas boulevard. Beautiful views on the bay from the pool area and from some of the rooms and studios. The building is, although not modern, well maintained. The hotel being gay friendly is an understatement. The vast majority of the clientele is gay which is giving the place a special atmosphere.
I stayed in a studio which has, according to the shield on the building, 1 "key" and the comfort level is accordingly. The hotel is 2 stars. The studio is roomy but pretty basic. No airco, no tv (but you can rent one), no fan (but you can rent one) and for the people in a hotelroom: you can rent a fridge to keep your drinks cold. The studio did have a fridge by the way. The room does not have a safe, you can rent one in the reception area. This safe is only just large enough for a 13" MacBook. Did I mention that being on top of the hill means that you have to climb a lot of stairs to get back to the hotel?

Great hill top location between Ibiza town and Figueretas, both within easy walking distance. Rooms are simple but spacious, many with fantastic sea views. The pool area overlooking Figueretas, Playa den Bossa and beyond is really nice. The perfect place to stay if you're gay as, although it's not strictly a gay hotel, it attracts a lot of gay visitors.
Wifi speed is slow and wifi only available in the reception area / foyer. This really should be improved and extended to the pool area or ideally throughout the whole hotel complex. Parking nearby can be a bit tricky as the hotel car park isn't big enough for all guests.

the views from the pool and bar area fantastic....
-
the staff were wonderful, location great.

This hotel has the most amazing views so try to get a sea view. It is clean and friendly and well located for Ibiza town. This isamazing value for money
It is a bit noisy in places but only what you would expect in ibiza
-
Friendly staff, great spot and fantastic atmosphere. The pool area is excellent, and the other guests are very welcoming and chatty. Brilliant place for gay travellers
Room security wasn't very good, just some latches on the sliding doors of the balcony - but put all your valuables in the hotel safe and you'll be fine.

Good Location, Gay Friendly, Nice Pool:)
Breakfast Was Very Basic and Every Day The Same

I have stayed at the Cenit many times before and never been disappointed. This is the best view (from pool and most rooms/studios) of Ibiza Town. The staff at reception is friendly, always there to help. Breakfast was good too. I can't wait to go back next year!
You have to ask at check in if you want a fridge and air conditioning in your room, just remember to do so!

if single, not value for money. really nice swimming pool
-
bit dated but clean rooms, nice terras, sea view, walking distance to bars, restaurants
from city u have to walk up the hill many stairs.
-
Nice view at the top of the hill...2 of the 5 different reception staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. Cleaners came around every day and did a good job.
Bit awkward location on top of the hill but great view, not great value for money we were 4 people initially and given a room with 2 rooms one with 2 single beds and the next with a double bed!!! when I specifically asked for 4 single beds unwilling to accept that we should have been given 4 single beds " apparently no other guests have a problem with that set up"...they assumed we would be okay to share a bed ....then as 5 people they charged for extra person but did nothing different but simply make up the sofa bed!! Do not declare guests in excess of the rooms beds as you pay extra for nothing in return. Also if you are looking for a party keep searching as this is a completely 100% gay hotel and they are not really on for late parties..and I mean 100% gay hotel..not just gay friendly..so not party central at all..kind of intimidating too

The hotel has a neat roof-top bar, swimming pool and sun-terrace -- all with a fantastic view. Great to get away from the crowds on the beaches.

Strange place in that the rooms are very basic (no TV, iron, other amenities) but spotlessly clean, and yet had great balcony with million dollar/pound/euro view of the castle. And pool was great, fab view as well and nice bar. Location at top of hill between Figueretas and Ibiza Town was very quiet (unusual for Spanish city!) but 10 mins to get most anywhere. Highly recommended!
Rooms are basic and my friend complained of no TV but I didn't mind. Also breakfast is very basic - they could very easily do a few upgrades and make this a 3 or 4 star property - but I wouldn't want the associated prices, so it was fine by me the way it was!
-
Everyone was exeptionally friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed. Our apartment was basic, but clean, light and airy with a great view of the bay. Its about 10-15 minutes to the fantastic cafes and bars of the old town and port area.

Great value hotel - basic rooms but clean and the hotel is well-located. It's on top of a hill overlooking the bay so great views. There are steps down to the beach or town - these are quite steep though. Takes about 15-20 mins to walk to the marina from the hotel. Lovely pool area and bar overlooking the bay. Breakfast was basic but adequate.
This didn't bother us, but just be aware that this is a gay-friendly hotel. It was very quiet whilst we were there but think we were the only straight couple during our stay!
